Parish Liturgical and Social Events:

 Confessions are scheduled every Saturday in our Parish Church from 3 pm to 3:30 pm.  Our Saturday Vigil  Mass at 4:00 pm  and  Sunday Mass at 8:30 am  and 10:30 am will be celebrated in our Parish Church and the doors will open 1/2 hour prior to the start of Mass.

Mass will be live streamed every Sunday morning at  10:30 am on our Facebook page, MyParish App and on our webpage (popsteelton.org).  For those of you who do not have a computer, you may listen to the Mass on your phone by calling the below toll free number:       1-855-635-1965

    You may tune your radio station to 90.7 FM and listen to the Mass in your car in the back parking lot. You would need to come into our Parish Church to receive the Holy Eucharist.

   Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask you to stay close by me forever, and love me, I pray.  Bless all the dear children in your tender care and bring us to heaven to live with you there.

DECEMBER LITURGICAL SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES 2023:

December 2:  Decorate Outside of our Parish complex at 9:00 am.  All parishioners and children are invited to assist with this project. Pizza party to follow in the Parish Center.

December 2/3:  First Sunday of Advent

December 2/3:  Blessing of Advent Wreaths at all Masses

December 2:  Blessing of our “Outdoor Nativity Scene”

December 3:  Family Gathering following 10:30 am Mass in Parish Center

December 7:  Vigil Mass “Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception” at 5:30 pm

December 8:  Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception Mass at 9:00 am and 6 pm in our Parish Church

December 9:  “Rorate” Mass/Candlelight Mass in Honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrated at the High Altar at 6:30 am in our Parish Church.

December 9:  Second Sunday of Advent.  Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm

December 10:  Mass at 8:30am and 10:30am

December 10:  Knights of Columbus “All You Can Eat Breakfast” 9 am to 12 noon.  

December 10:  St. Nicholas will be in Church following all of our Masses and will come to the Knight’s Breakfast, too.

December 12:  Rehearsal for Advent/Christmas Program.  All youth of parish are invited to participate at 6:00 pm in our Church.

December 16:  Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm.  Third Sunday of Advent-Gaudete Sunday

December 16:  Bambinelli Sunday-A tradition begun by Pope St. John Paul, II, bring your Baby Jesus from your home Nativity Scene to be blessed.

December 16:  Living Nativity following 4:00 pm Mass presented by the children of our Parish followed by a reception in the Parish Center with activities and games for the children.

December 17:  Mass at 8:30am and 10:30am

December 17:  Penance Service at 2:00 pm with visiting Priests

December 17:  3:45 Fr Dolcic confessions in the Croatian language

December 17:  5:00 Mass in the Croatian Language by Fr. Dolcic

December 19:  Confession for Religious Education Class Students

December 22:  Decorate the interior of our Church for Christmas

December 23:  Fourth Sunday of Advent.  Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm

December 24:  Sunday Masses at 8:30am and 10:30 am (Sunday Obligation)

December 24:  Christmas Eve Masses at 4pm, 6pm and midnight.  Our midnight Mass will be in English with Croatian hymns.  There will be singing of Christmas carols beginning at 11:30pm.

December 25:  Nativity of Our Lord. Merry Christmas.  Mass at 9:00am

December 30:  Feast of the Holy Family.  Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm.  Bring a bottle of flask of wine to Church for a special St. John Blessing.

December 31:  Mass at 8:30am and 10:30 am.

January 1, 2024:  “Mary, the Mother of God”/New Year’s Day.  Mass at 9:00 am

January 6, 2024:  Epiphany. Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm. Blessing of Epiphany Holy Water

January 7, 2024:  Mass at 8:30am and 10:30am

January 8, 2024:  “Baptism of the Lord” Mass at 7:00 am
