On this day, I embrace and wear freely the outward sign of my sinfulness. On this day and every day, I seek the One who redeems, heals, and transforms. When my words and deeds fall short, when I stumble and fall, I search for the hand of the One who will restore my footing. On this day and everyday I seek my Lord, confident it is because of my brokenness, my humility and my meekness. I will encounter a grace, love and mercy that far exceed understanding.
