Divine Mercy Sunday
I am called to gaze on the cross and remember. I am called to contemplate how my Lord, beaten and scourged, bruised and spat upon, gazed into the faces of those who dealt the crushing blows and uttered, Father, forgive them, they know not what they do. In a moment when Jesus could have turned his face and closed his eyes, he overflows with MERCY!
