Dear Good People of Prince of Peace Parish
On behalf of my Archdiocese of Tabora, Tanzania, East Africa, we thank you for the opportunity for Father Andrew Mlele to visit your parish and make an appeal. Fr. Andrew is a Diocesan priest from the Archdiocese of Tabora-Tanzania. He was ordained on June 13, 2014 and currently is taking a summer break and is very happy to be visiting with you in your Parish.
Our Mission is to preach the Good News to all people, to enhance evangelization through a participatory approach: to empower the Tabora community by involving the faithful in the identification of issues and helping them solve their own social problems. To make this mission possible, we focus on widespread evangelization, furthering social-economic development, provision of health services for all, notably HIV/AIDS victims, education of orphans/vulnerable children, building small Christian communities and supporting the poor and marginalized. In summary, the Archdiocese of Tabora carries out its mission under two major sections: pastoral and development offices.
This year, the Archdiocese of Tabora focuses on education and protection of albinos, orphans and children from poor families and improvements of water and sanitation.
With grateful heart, we thank you for your prayers and financial support.
Fr. Daniel Malingumu, US Representative
